Laju99 Esports – Bet on DOTA 2, Mobile Legends, CS2 & Valorant at the Best Odds in Malaysia

Laju99 Esports – Why Malaysia Is Going All In on Esports Betting

If you have a younger sibling or family member at home who stays up late watching DOTA 2 or Mobile Legends tournaments, you already know just how big the esports wave has gotten in Malaysia. What you might not realise, though, is that beyond the excitement of watching, a whole new dimension is growing in popularity — esports betting. And laju99 is the most complete and accessible platform for Malaysian players to get in on this trend.

Esports in Malaysia has long outgrown the "kids' hobby" label. When the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines made esports an official event for the first time, it was a wake-up call for many on just how serious the industry had become. Today, professional Malaysian esports players earn monthly salaries comparable to traditional athletes, and major corporations are actively investing in local esports teams. This thriving ecosystem provides a solid foundation for esports betting to grow.

At laju99, our e-sports section covers nine major game titles — from DOTA 2, Mobile Legends, and League of Legends in the MOBA category, to CS2 and Valorant for FPS fans, as well as PUBG Mobile and Free Fire for battle royale enthusiasts. Whatever game you follow, laju99 has matches you can bet on every week.

Mobile Legends holds a special place on our list because it is the most-followed esports title in Malaysia. MPL Malaysia — the Mobile Legends Professional League — is the most-watched local esports league in the country, with teams like EVOS MY, Todak, and Orange Esports boasting loyal fan bases from one end of Malaysia to the other. laju99 offers full coverage for every MPL week, meaning you can bet on every match your favourite team plays each Saturday and Sunday throughout the season.

DOTA 2 is the esports title with the deepest betting markets on laju99. The International — the annual DOTA 2 championship boasting a prize pool worth tens of millions of ringgit — is the pinnacle of the global esports calendar, and laju99 offers over 40 markets for every TI match. From match winner to exotic markets like "which team will secure the first Roshan" or "who will finish the game with the highest kill count", laju99's esports market depth surpasses most other platforms available in Malaysia.

CS2 and Valorant each carry their own FPS communities, but share the same passion. CS2 Major and Valorant Champions Tour events draw massive global audiences, and betting on these matches at laju99 is always active. Round handicap markets for CS2 are among the most popular — they let you bet on the margin of victory rather than simply picking a winner outright, giving a more nuanced option for bettors who understand team dynamics.

One thing that sets laju99 apart from other platforms for esports is genuine Bahasa Malaysia support. Our support team can chat with you in Bahasa Malaysia about esports teams, players, and tournaments — they're not just reading from a script; they actually know who the current MPL star players are and how T1 has been performing in the LCK this season. That's a very different experience from international platforms that only offer generic English-language support.

For payments, laju99 supports all major Malaysian e-wallet and digital banking methods. Deposits can be made via DuitNow, FPX through Maybank2u or CIMB Clicks, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, and ShopeePay. The minimum deposit is just RM 10 — enough to place your first few e-sports bets. Withdrawal of winnings is processed within three to five minutes for active members who have completed KYC verification. This isn't a marketing promise — it's our daily operational standard.

For new players looking to get into esports betting, our best advice is to start with the game you know and follow most. If you already watch MPL Malaysia every week, begin there — you already have context on the teams, players, and current form that will inform your betting decisions. Start with small bets of RM 5 to RM 10 to get comfortable with the laju99 interface before gradually increasing your stake size.

Laju99 also offers a special 30% bonus on deposits in the esports section — claimable up to three times a week with a minimum deposit of RM 30. That means a RM 100 deposit gives you RM 130 in playing credit to use on esports bets. This offer directly stretches the value of every ringgit you deposit, especially during action-packed weeks like MPL finals or TI playoff stages.

Register a laju99 account today, claim your esports bonus, and join the growing community of Malaysian esports fans who have made laju99 their go-to betting platform. Matches are waiting — and the best odds are right here.
